Soooooooo I'm very sad at the moment. In my Art Major class we are making Nanas. For those of you that don't know, they are the figures that Niki de Saite Phalle made. They are very beautiful flowing (usually) female figures with large (shall i say) curves(?) as well as bold color patterns. Now it has been a tradition that Art Major classes at my school make these for a while, but they are (no offense) hideous. all others before our class made these boxy, lumpy, ugly things that weren't anything like a Nana should be.
